There is an extremely large selection of lifting platforms. On the one hand, the 2-post lifts differ in their load capacity. Here, for example, there are lifting platforms with a load capacity of 4 to 5.5t. These values give an insight into the stability of the stage offered. However, more important than the lifting capacity is the possibility of locking the support arms, since the user wants to use the lift to lift both vehicles with a short wheelbase (e.g. Smart) and vehicles with a long wheelbase (T6, V-Class, Sprinter). There are 2x or 3x telescopic support arms, with the latter allowing for more flexibility in the possible uses. Nobody uses a lifting platform with 4 support arms, which are all 2-fold telescopic, if they can lift a T6 with it, but not a BMW 3 series where they cannot reach the lifting points due to the rather short wheelbase. That is why the buyer needs to pay particular attention here
With a hydraulic 2-post lift, the lifting power is provided by two cylinders in the two posts. Here, the hydraulic oil is pumped by the electric motor through a pump at high pressure into the cylinders and pushes the rams upwards. When you press the up button, the lifting carriage moves up with the vehicle. With a mechanical 2-post lift, on the other hand, the power is transmitted via a spindle. Here, the vehicle to be lifted is transported upwards by a screw.
Problem: The electronic control of the Krömer lift is out of control after assembly.
Cause: An unintentional adjustment or incorrect setting of the industrial control has occurred.
Solution: Please configure the industrial controller.

Problem: The pump no longer functions properly.
Cause: The pump has drawn in air.
Solution: Rotate the pump unit by 180° to suck in the hydraulic oil from the top. The air bubble is thus pressed out of the pump gear of the Krömer lift and the hydraulic oil can be properly sucked in again in the correct position of the pump unit.

Problem: The Krömer lift can no longer be lowered.
Cause: The lowering valve is dirty.
Solution: Please clean the lowering valve.

Problem description: We are using Krömer lift 12 hours a day as well as our employees after work. We never switched off the control panel. Now, after three days of "continuous operation", the stage no longer works. As soon as I want to drive the vehicle down, the platform will not respond and stay. Platform can only be moved upwards.
Solution: Turn off the main switch, wait 2 minutes and turn the control panel back on. Computer from the industrial control has now restarted and is working reliably again. According to occupational safety, the platform should only be left switched on when the platform is being moved up or down. Otherwise the stage should remain switched off. In the future, this means you shouldn't leave the lectern on for days.

problems:
The last time the lift was used, it automatically went up past the limit switch. The limit switch was torn out of the guide. The emergency stop was pressed (off switch).
I ask you to speak to the technician to fix the problem as soon as possible. I would also like to ask you to send me a new limit switch as a gesture of goodwill, as discussed on the phone, since the guarantee is still valid.
Cause:
Unlock cable was not connected. In this way, the platform moves up in an emergency.
Solution:
Turn off the main switch. Connect the cable to the unlocking. The stage works reliably again.

Please tilt the columns of the Krömer 2-post lift far enough (approx. 20°) to pass the rope through from below.
A customer wrote: "I removed the snap ring of the shafts on which the pulley is attached and then knocked the shaft out to the rear and was then able to easily insert the rope of the Krömer stage and reinsert the pulley (see photos)"

Problem: The synchronization cable is too short. The second lock nut can therefore not be fastened.
Cause: The synchronous rope with a length of 9320mm was optimized for the stages. Thus, the longevity increases due to the clamping force.
Solution: Please move the columns by 100mm to each other.
Solution: Please shorten the bottom plate by 50mm on each side.

Stage no longer moves down at all. However, the magnets in the safety catches do get warm.
Cause:
Safety catches constantly draw electricity, but do not show any function. After 1/2 hour you will get warm. The industrial control no longer works because the customer had changed it out of curiosity.
Solution:
