In general, all of our car lifts (with the exception of motorcycle lifts) can safely lift passenger cars. Many modern passenger car lifts can also lift light commercial vehicles if their load capacity is sufficient. Two-post car lifts, in particular, are the standard solution in many workshops, as they can be used flexibly for various types of vehicles. Thanks to the 2- or 3-stage telescoping support arms, different lifting points can be precisely targeted. For larger vehicles or vans, a 4-post car lift may also be a sensible choice. If the post car lifts take up too much space, both our short-stroke scissor lifts and full-rise scissor lifts are a safe choice. It is important that the workshop lifting equipment is designed for the maximum vehicle weight and that the mounting points on the vehicle can be properly aligned. If different vehicles are regularly serviced in the workshop or garage, a car lift with a higher load capacity and a sturdy construction is recommended.

Besonders bei intensiver Nutzung oder höheren Fahrzeuggewichten ist ein 400-V-Anschluss sinnvoll. The lifting time refers to the time it takes for a car lift to raise a vehicle from the lowest position to maximum height. Depending on the model, motor power, and hydraulic system, the lifting time is usually between about 40 and 60 seconds. With more powerful systems, such as those with a 400 V connection, the lifting process can be slightly faster. Additionally, the speed can be adjusted via the lift and lower valves—however, we recommend leaving these valves at their factory settings unless significant deviations occur. For daily use in workshops and garages, a short and consistent lift time is important to ensure vehicles can be lifted efficiently.

After you place your order, our team will inspect the car lift and prepare it for shipment. Our logistics team will then hand the order over to a shipping carrier, who will coordinate with you prior to delivery. Delivery typically takes place within approximately 15 business days, depending on availability and the delivery address. When installing a car lift, safety and regular maintenance play a crucial role. Even during setup, care must be taken to ensure that the car lift is properly installed and correctly aligned. Proper commissioning and the inspection of all safety-critical components, such as interlocks, the control unit, and the hydraulic system, are essential for safe operation.

After installation, regular maintenance is essential. This includes inspecting hydraulic lines, screw connections, and moving parts. The use of suitable hydraulic oil for car lifts, as well as lubricants, also contributes to the system’s longevity. Additionally, safety-critical components such as support arms and safety systems should be checked regularly.

A car lift alone is usually not enough to ensure efficient and professional workshop operations. A combination of several coordinated components makes sense. Especially in tire service, a tire changer and a tire balancer are part of the basic equipment. While the car lift raises the vehicle, the tire changer safely mounts and demounts the tires, and the balancer ensures precise balancing.

In addition, other equipment can be optimally combined: A compressor supplies pneumatic tools with compressed air, while a wheel alignment machine ensures precise suspension adjustments. However, wheel alignment requires a suitable car lift—typically a large scissor lift (drive-on scissor lift) or a 4-post car lift specifically designed for this application. Together, these elements create a seamless workflow—from vehicle intake through maintenance and repair to tire service. Coordinated workshop equipment increases efficiency, improves work quality, and enables professional workshop operations.

To minimize corrosion and wear on a car lift, regular care and maintenance are essential. Moving parts such as joints, bolts, and guide elements should be lubricated at regular intervals. A special lubrication kit for car lifts is ideal for this purpose, as it reliably protects all relevant components from friction and wear. However, simple multi-purpose grease is sufficient. Good lubrication not only ensures smooth operation but also extends the service life of the entire car lift.

The hydraulic oil for car lifts also plays a central role. Our car lifts are designed to operate with HLP-46 hydraulic oil. The first oil change is particularly crucial here. This should be performed after purchase, after approximately 30 lifting cycles or at the latest after 2 months. After that, an annual oil change is recommended to ensure consistent performance of the hydraulic system. Regular inspection and maintenance are especially important for use in workshops and garages to ensure that the workshop lifting equipment operates reliably and safely over the long term.
