Especially in the commercial professional sector, there are special requirements for car lifts. With the "Detroit" model, Krömer provides you with the perfect companion for hydraulic lifting of motor vehicles with a maximum weight of up to 5,500 kg. You will soon be able to lift small trucks and caravans without any problems (see dimensions and graphic). With a support arm length of up to 180 cm, the stage can lift a maximum weight of 5,500 kg.

The hydraulic motor of this 2-post lift is made of high-quality industrial aluminum! The greater sensitivity to wear of conventional cast steel motors due to heat sensitivity is now a thing of the past.

At Krömer you also get a splash-proof, high-quality, modern and newly designed metal control panel, which is not available anywhere else. The control panel is pre-assembled on the column and already connected to the motor, which is also pre-assembled. Due to the industrial control installed as standard, only 3 main components are installed in the control panel, microcomputer control, circuit board and motor contactor. These standardized assemblies (Conrad Electronics modular principle) can be easily replaced years later thanks to the new plug-and-play modular design, without time-consuming troubleshooting. For the user, this is an enormous gain in operating safety. We would be happy to give you a 10-year guarantee on these assemblies for a small surcharge. 

Thanks to the massive equal ropes, the 2-post lift TP51 from Krömer is protected against rust by dry blasting. 

The columns were manufactured using the highest quality Auropont special steel (Q235) and profiled with and with the help of a machine from a Trumpf subsidiary. Bumpers (door protectors) are mounted on both columns. The automatic lowering safety locks in automatically at a distance of 9 cm during the lifting process, so that safe working is possible at any desired lifting height from the Krömer lifting platform.

Our welders almost exclusively use Panasonic® welding units to assemble this model in order to further increase the production quality for you. Panasonic guarantees deep-pored penetration of the steel and joins it precisely, without deformation and without blistering (breakage). 

Especially with long support arms, such as the 4x1800mm examples installed here, a high bending resistance is important so that the arms do not sag at an angle after installation. Therefore, only 1A strength was used for the construction of this model, which guarantees a longer service life even in long-term operation. 

In addition, this Krömer car post lift offers you a 2-way height-adjustable support plate with a sophisticated double thread and overturning protection. You can now easily raise vehicles with difficult dimensions in just a few steps. The noble and high-quality design with durable white sliding blocks and the powder coating round off the Krömer overall package.

Bolts, screws and identical rope of the Krömer 2-post lift are galvanized, so rust doesn't stand a chance, even in long-term operation. Of course, deflection rollers of the synchronization cables for the synchronization control have brass bushings inside and therefore work almost wear-free even under intensive loads.

The cable connections within the control panel of the Krömer lift were mechanically pressed and almost all pre-installed inside the column together with the hydraulic hoses. As a result, the Krömer lift does not have to be set up by a master electrician or a specialist hydraulic company. To put it simply, the columns of the "Detroit" only have to be connected with 4 connecting strands, erected and fastened.

Safety catches, motor unit and control panel are already pre-assembled. Compared to the previous models, this is a significant relief.Because the hydraulic hoses have already been pre-installed, they no longer have to be tested for pressure resistance before assembly. By purchasing an optional remote control, the stage can be operated flexibly on all sides. In addition, the "Detroit" can be equipped with an optional 230V socket, because space and sockets are scarce, especially in professional workshops. Krömer lifting platforms can help here!  

With our additional options, which are subject to a surcharge, this Krömer model can be perfectly adapted to the individual needs of your workshop. For working with vans, buses, jeeps, etc., there are also our 100 mm high Krömer van risers as an additional option that is subject to a surcharge.

Of course, this model also comes to you with the comprehensive Krömer guarantee, because the 2-post car lift TP51 "Detroit" has been tested and approved according to the Machinery Directive in accordance with Appendix IV with a type examination, so it was manufactured in accordance with ISO and CE regulations. For the first start-up you need hydraulic oil of the DIN type HLP46 (12 liters required). Before operation, the operator's manual, the concrete foundation plan and the operation and maintenance manual must be worked through. Electrical work must be carried out by appropriately authorized specialist personnel.
