Shipping and delivery

How does the delivery service work at KROEMER?

Due to their weight, many of our car lifts and workshop equipment items are delivered by a shipping company. Here’s how the process works:

1) Ordering and order processing

Once you’ve placed your order, it is processed by our team at KROEMER. This includes:

  • Checking the order details
  • Preparing the goods for dispatch
  • Coordinating with the logistics team

2) Logistics & handover to the carrier

Our logistics team (based in the greater Hamburg area) hands the consignment over to the shipping company. As soon as the goods are on their way, the shipping company will usually contact you by email or phone to arrange delivery.

3) Delivery & Unloading

Delivery is usually made to the kerbside (roadside). Please ensure that:

  • the delivery address is accessible by lorry
  • unloading is possible (e.g. space + ground surface)

Important: Depending on the model, a forklift or similar equipment may be required for unloading. The exact requirements depend on the product.

4) Assembly

Assembly can take place after unloading.

5) Customer service & support

We are here for you even after delivery – should you have any questions regarding use, service, spare parts or maintenance.

Availability

The current availability of each item is displayed on the website. The delivery time stated refers to the actual stock availability.

Delivery time

In the rare event that an item is not immediately available, we will indicate this separately on the relevant product page. This means that even if the STOCK STATUS is ‘In stock’, we will always specify the delivery time to indicate exactly when the goods will be available, e.g. 10 working days or from the end of May 2026.

Delivery costs are shown on a per-item basis and depend on the item, delivery country and delivery method. You can find this information directly in the relevant product description and at checkout.

Orders from abroad

For delivery addresses abroad, please use the relevant KROEMER webshop (depending on the country), e.g. for:

Customs, Taxes & Charges (Non-EU Countries)

For deliveries to countries outside the EU, additional costs may apply (e.g. customs duties, import VAT, charges). These are to be borne by the buyer. Please also refer to Kroemer’s Terms and Conditions.

Pick-up (Berlin–Hamburg)

If you are collecting the goods yourself, we will notify you by email or phone as soon as they are ready. Collection will take place by arrangement. There is no loading fee.

Note on vehicle selection: For certain goods (e.g. palletised goods/heavy loads), collection is only possible with suitable vehicles. Please use a vehicle designed to handle the weight and dimensions to ensure safe loading and transport.
