SINGLE POST LIFTS
for your workshop from KROEMER
If you don't have much space available and don't want to be tied to a fixed location due to the limited lift height, you should consider purchasing a mobile 1-post lift. The design of the 1-post lift allows unrestricted access to the sides and wheels of a vehicle.

1-Post Lift for Your Workshop by KROEMER
- Space-saving design: Ideal for workshops, industrial buildings, or garages with limited space.
- Unobstructed access to the vehicle: Wheels, side skirts, and underbody remain easily accessible
- Mobile and flexible: Mobile single-post lifts can be easily moved as needed
If you have limited space in your workshop or garage but still want to work comfortably on your vehicle, you should consider a single-post lift. Thanks to its compact design, this lift requires significantly less floor space than traditional multi-post models. Thanks to its design, a single-post lift allows for unobstructed access to the sides of the vehicle as well as to the wheels. This makes tasks such as tire changes, maintenance, or minor bodywork particularly efficient. Many mobile single-post lifts can also be easily moved and used flexibly throughout the workshop

General Information about Kroemer Single Post Lifts
Advantages of Single Post Lifts
The enormous lifting height of up to 200 cm under a vehicle allows you to move freely around a single-post car lift. This is why single-post lifts are particularly popular for tyre, paint and bodywork repairs, or simply for parking two cars in one space. Kroemer offers you high-quality models of single-post lifts. This wide range of models is the result of our more than 20 years of experience in this sector. The following section of this page provides more detailed information on the respective existing models.
THE MAIN ADVANTAGES OF SINGLE POST LIFTS ARE THE FOLLOWING:
- up to 3.2 t load capacity
- can be mobile or installed 1-post lift
- free access, both from below and on the sides of the vehicle
- local flexibility
- little need for space
- can also be used to park 2 cars on a parking space
- wide range of vehicles - from Polo to small vans
What type of 1 post lift are you looking for?
At Kroemer you not only get a broad variety of models that can be at the drop of hat, but also the most stable and high-quality products. Are you looking for a 1 post lift for wheel alignment? No problem! Due to the wide range of our products even the most unique desires can be fulfilled. Kroemer offers you 1 post lifts with a load capacity of up to 3.2 tons. The selection ranges from a wheelbase of 2.4 meters to over 3 meters. The platforms are therefore even suitable for lifting small vans.
Mobile Single post lift
The 1-post car lifts are usually mobile. This means that, especially in good weather, they can also be set up as additional outdoor workstations for seasonal use. To lift a vehicle, the 1-post lift is either moved under the car or the vehicle is driven over the base frame of the lift.
Static Single post lift
The single post lift 2.8 t SP15 is the only single post lift with anchors attached to the ground. A lifting height of up to 1.95 meters can be achieved with this stage. Vehicle-specific designs, such as the Mercedes GLS, Porsche Cayenne or Volkswagen T6, do not pose a challenge for this stage.
What are the differences between them?
- Vehicles are freely accessible from all sides
- No drilling required in the workshop floor
- Lifting height up to 200 cm
- usually mobile
- space-saving lifting technology
- Favorable acquisition and follow-up costs
- Low workshop floor requirements
Our single-post car lifts are divided into mobile single-post lifts and permanently installed single-post lifts. Unlike mobile single-post lifts, permanently installed single-post lifts have a more compact design thanks to their small column base. This makes these lifts particularly suitable for creating a free workspace in narrow garages, for tasks such as changing tyres,
replacing brake pads, working on side skirts (smart repairs), wrapping vehicles, painting or simply changing the oil. Kroemer's mobile 1-post car lifts are characterised by their mobility, which means they can be used in different locations. They are relatively easy to assemble and can be easily moved if necessary to save space. The 1-post lift is space-saving and ideal for small halls or garages in the city.
Due to the design of the 1-post car lift, the sides and tyres are freely accessible. This makes them popular car lifts for paint, bodywork and tyre services. Among other things, the car lift is particularly well suited for work on brakes or oil changes. Compared to mobile scissor car lifts, however, there is no need to accept any restrictions on the lifting height. Thanks to the minimum lifting height of 185 cm, many tasks can also be carried out comfortably while standing.
The mobile 1-post car lift does not need to be fixed to the ground and therefore does not require any foundation work. Thanks to the mobility of Kroemer's 1-post car lift, the platform is easy to move and can therefore be used for different workplaces and areas of application. If the customer has an extensive order backlog, e.g. conversion or relocation of the workshop, the lift can be transported and moved without great effort.
Comparison of all 1 post lifts
Here at Kroemer, we offer mobile and permanently anchored single-post car lifts. As a permanently anchored single-post car lift, we currently offer the SP15 model at Kroemer. With 10 models to choose from, the selection of mobile single-post car lifts is much more diverse. In contrast to the permanently anchored platform, the mobile single-post lifts all have an integrated pallet truck, which allows the platform to be moved easily from one workstation to another. In addition to the pallet truck, 2 or 4 castors are used in the base frame. This means that a mobile single-post lift can have a total of up to 6 castors for moving.
The more castors a lift has, the easier it is to move. Mobile single-post car lifts are available in both semi-automatic and fully automatic versions. With a semi-automatic car lift, the platform must be unlocked in order to lower it. In such cases, the single-post car lift must first be raised a few centimetres by pressing the up button. Then, a release lever must be pulled permanently. At the same time, the lever on the pump block of the car lift must be pressed. This will lower the single-post car lift with the vehicle on it. With a fully automatic 1-post car lift, on the other hand, these processes would run reliably automatically.
There are significant differences between single-post car lifts in terms of load capacity and total weight. There are often discrepancies on the market, as each manufacturer uses different testing agencies with different evaluation criteria. All models offered are 100% ‘designed by Kroemer’ and start with a net weight of at least 820 kg up to 1,200 kg.
The heavier the 1-post car lift is, the heavier the cars you can safely lift. When making a purchase decision, you should therefore consider not only the load capacity, but also the technical circumstances and features. For example, the car lift should weigh 1,000 kg if a family van weighing approximately 1,400 kg is to be lifted. This is because the support arms will flex less and the car lift will feel more stable. If attention is paid to the technical features, even inexperienced users can get to grips with a 1-post car lift.
Was sind die Nachteile einer 1-Säulen Hebebühne?
To ensure that your vehicle can be lifted safely with a single-post car lift, when purchasing a lift you should not only consider the lifting capacity, but also the actual empty weight. At Kroemer, we recommend a minimum weight of 1,000 kg. This ensures greater stability compared to similar 2- or 4-post lifts. Private customers in particular often feel uncomfortable with lifts that have a lower weight.
This more complex design of the 1-post lift is reflected in a higher price compared to classic 2-post lifts. With 1-post car lifts, the solid base frame must be driven over, as difficulties can arise when moving the main support arm (boom). To avoid such difficulties, the car should be placed on rubber risers. These are available as accessories for the respective car lifts.
Safety first
That's why we have a built-in CE stop in our 1-post lifts as standard. The lift is stopped with a beep when lowering and a foot trap protection is provided. If the platform reaches the maximum lifting height, a specially built-in cylinder automatically ends the lifting process. The hydraulic system is protected accordingly and guarantees long-term safety. All stage batches are regularly tested by our own employees. In addition, 1-post lifts are regularly checked in our technical center in Germany by the workshop manager and members of the management.
The Kroemer Quality
The products of Kroemer GmbH. are consistently produced according to ISO 9001. Our processing is based on the CE certificate for APR approvals. Among other things, the car lifts are equipped with hard chrome-plated hydraulic cylinders, which is reflected in a lower susceptibility to errors and lower maintenance intensity. Each 1-post lift is also equipped with a so-called dead man's switch as standard. Should something no longer work, we always have the right spare part ready.
