Magnetic switch for safety lock for Kroemer scissor lifts – X033

The X033 magnetic switch is an electrical spare part for Kroemer scissor lifts and is used to unlock the mechanical safety lock when lowering the lift.

During operation, the safety lock mechanically secures the lift against unintended lowering. Before the scissor lift can be lowered, this locking mechanism must first be released. For this purpose, the X033 magnetic switch is electrically activated and operates the corresponding unlocking mechanism.

The electromagnetic actuation moves the safety lock out of its locked position. This releases the lowering process of the scissor lift, allowing the platform to be lowered in a controlled manner.

Frequent switching operations, electrical loads or wear can damage the magnetic switch over time. A defect may become noticeable, for example, if the safety lock no longer releases when the lowering button is pressed, preventing the lift from lowering or allowing it to lower only to a limited extent.

The X033 spare part allows a defective magnetic switch to be replaced and restores the function of the electrical safety unlocking system.

Function

The X033 magnetic switch is mainly used for:

• electrical actuation of the safety unlocking mechanism
• unlocking the mechanical safety lock
• releasing the lowering process
• controlled lowering of the scissor lift

Before replacement, it should be checked whether the magnetic switch itself or its electrical control is actually responsible for the malfunction. Work on electrical and safety-relevant components of a vehicle lift should be carried out professionally.
