The FP162 equalising cable is a suitable replacement part for the Kroemer FP41 4-post lift. It runs through the designated cable guidance system over the pulleys and supports even movement of the runways when raising and lowering the lift.

The Kroemer FP41 is fitted with a total of four equalising cables of different lengths. Depending on their length, these are classified as short, medium, long and extra-long. This product is the extra-long equalising cable with a total length of 11,690 mm. One equalising cable of this version is required per lift.

During regular operation, the equalising cable is continuously exposed to mechanical stress. Corrosion, broken individual wires, deformation or other signs of wear may affect the reliable cable guidance and even operation of the lift. Timely replacement of the affected steel cable supports professional repair and reliable operation of the FP41.

Important application note

Before ordering, carefully check the lift model, item number and length of the existing equalising cable. As the FP41 uses four cables of different lengths, the short, medium, long and extra-long versions must not be confused with one another.

A serial number or marking is located at both ends of the equalising cable. This provides information about the cable version and generally also includes the cable length, often at the end of the marking. Compare this information with the existing equalising cable to select the correct replacement part.

Replacement, tensioning and subsequent adjustment of the equalising cable must only be carried out by qualified personnel when the lift is fully lowered, switched off and secured against unintentional activation.
