Important application note

Before ordering, carefully check the lift model, item number and length of the existing equalisation cable. As the FP42 is fitted with four equalisation cables of different lengths, the short, medium, long and extra-long versions must not be confused with one another.

A serial number or identification marking is located at both ends of the equalisation cable. This provides information about the cable version and generally also includes the length, often at the end of the marking. Compare this information with the existing equalisation cable to clearly identify the correct spare part.

Replacement, tensioning and adjustment of the equalisation cable must only be carried out by qualified personnel when the lift is fully lowered, switched off and secured against unintentional activation.
