The "Glasgow" mid-rise scissor lift has a load capacity of 3.5t and a total weight of 710 kg. Due to the solid and high-quality construction, the lifting platform is particularly suitable for heavy transporters or SUVs. No compressor is necessary for the scissor lift. It is actuated by pressing a button for the electromagnetic unlocking.
A quiet operation is due to the engine! Since the newly designed engine is completely immersed in oil, it is extremely quiet! Gentle on the ears in daily use.
The astonishingly low drive-over height of incredible 105 mm and a maximum lifting height of up to 92 cm is particularly amazing. This makes the mobile scissor lift Krömer X48 particularly suitable for low ceilings.
Due to the flat construction of the scissors from Krömer, the "Glasgow" enables space-saving storage. The "Glasgow" also comes with the mobile chassis (mobile kit) at no extra charge, with which you can easily move your lift in the garage and/or turn it 360° on the spot.
A safety system is provided with the pneumatically unlockable safety catches, which means that the scissor lift can be raised and lowered successfully.
The "Glasgow" - X48 scissor lift has been tested and approved according to the Machinery Directive in accordance with Annex IV with a type examination and is therefore equipped with a CE certification from one of the leading testing offices, which deals exclusively with lifting platforms.

The mid-rise scissor lift has a load capacity of 3.5 tonnes and a dead weight of 670 kg. No compressor is required for the scissor lift. This is because the redundant, dual hydraulic system eliminates the need for additional safety latches. This provides double safety, preventing unilateral lifting or lowering.
The motor ensures quiet operation! As the newly designed motor is completely submerged in oil, it operates extremely quietly – gentle on the ears during daily use.
Another particularly impressive feature is the exceptionally low clearance height of just 105 mm, combined with a maximum lifting height of approximately 95 cm. This makes the Kroemer X49 especially suitable for garages with low ceiling heights.
The flat design of the Kroemer scissor lift allows for space-saving storage. The lift is supplied with a mobile chassis (mobile kit) at no extra cost, allowing you to easily move the lift around your garage and even rotate it 360° on the spot.
The rubber pads included in the delivery reliably protect the vehicle’s underbody. We strongly recommend purchasing additional rubber pads from our shop as an optional extra.
Note: For trouble-free operation and to prevent damage to the vehicle or ceiling, the room height must be at least 3.20 m or 3.50 m for mid-rise scissor lifts, and 4.20 m or 4.50 m for full-rise scissor lifts (depending on vehicle type and lifting height).

* Note on the Mobilkit: The Mobilkit is intended solely for positioning and moving the scissor lift. The Mobilkit must be completely removed before commissioning and before each use of the lift. The lift may only be operated on a suitable surface and must be properly secured to the floor. Use with the mobile kit installed or without secure floor anchoring is prohibited and can result in serious injury or property damage.
** Note regarding the included heavy-duty anchors: Before installation, contact the anchor manufacturer or your concrete and reinforced concrete contractor to verify that the included heavy-duty anchors are suitable for the existing workshop floor. If the subfloor is unsuitable or if you have any doubts, you must procure a suitable and approved anchor system yourself.
Unloading information
Despite the high-quality paint finish, minor scratches may occur during logistics handling, quality control, or assembly.
The metal transport frames attached around the lift serve as protective packaging and are part of the delivery packaging.

Delivery was a little difficult as whilst the area in front of the garage is flat it is covered with stone chippings. However the lift package was positioned eventually in the garage.
